Indian iron ore mining mess - SC adjourns iron ore ban petition of MSPL

India’s Supreme Court adjourned a petition by miner MSPL against a ban imposed on iron ore exports by Karnataka till the second week of January 2011.
The court adjourned the hearing as the lawyer representing Karnataka said he wanted more time to reply to a notice issued last month by the court asking why the petition by MSPL must not be admitted.
