Bloomberg quoted Rocklands Richfield Ltd said Jindal Steel & Power Ltd has confirmed its offer to acquire the Australian coal explorer.

The Perth based company said in a statement that Jindal is offering 56 Australian cents a share. The Rocklands board will meet shortly to discuss the proposal along with one from Meijin Energy Group. Neither approach is a formal offer that can be submitted to shareholders.
