The West Australian reported that Jupiter Mines has gone into a trading halt as the iron ore and manganese miner prepares an announcement related to the scoping study of its Mt Ida magnetite project in the Yilgarn region east of Perth.

Shares in Jupiter will remain in a trading halt until the announcement or until Wednesday.
