Reuters reported that South Korean utility Korea Midland Power Company has tendered for 675,000 tonnes, or 11 Panamax sized shipments of thermal coal for delivery between July to August.

According to KOMIPO's tender document, the utility is seeking 375,000 tonnes of bituminous coal with a minimum heating value of 5,600 kcal per kilogram and 300,000 tonnes of sub bituminous coal with a heating value of at least 4,800 kcal per kilograms.
