Leighton wins AUD 100 million FMG contract for Solomon Hub iron ore mine

The West Australian reported that Leighton Holdings subsidiary Thiess has won a AUD 100 million contract with Fortescue Metals Group for works on the Solomon Hub iron ore mine in the Pilbara.
The 18 month contract is for initial pioneering and mine establishment works such as haul roads, stockpile pads and the mining of early ore and waste.
