It is reported that genetically modified crops and deep sea ports will be among the issues discussed by the South Australian Liberal Party at Port Lincoln.
Stuart MP Dan van Holst Pellekaan said that he and his colleagues will hear presentations from experts before formulating their party's policies ahead of the next sitting of Parliament. He said that the Liberals will also use the meetings to formulate their position on whether to support a ban on mining exploration at Arkaroola.
He added that the tricky issues take longer and it's no secret that there's a wide range of views within the public at large and also within the Liberal Party about what should happen with regard to allowing or not allowing mining and mining exploration at Arkaroola.
