It is reported that in Dzhumgal district of Naryn province, activists urge to nationalize Kara Keche coal deposit as the Minister of Interior reported to 24.kg news agency.

According the Ministry, information about seizure of the coal deposit by locals is not true.

Dzhumgal Department of Interior said “Some group of people call upon authorities to nationalize the deposit of not they threaten to do this by themselves. But they don’t take any active actions.”

Police said the situation is under control. Department of Interior said “Developers of the deposit didn’t file police report.”

Recall earlier the State Agency for Geology and Ore Reserves told 24.kg news agency that there was conflict with locals at the coal deposit who illegally penetrated into the territory.
