Mr Phil Wright president and CEO of Lundin Mining said that the company plans to resume the zinc production at Neves-Corvo mine which is located in Portugal in 2011. The annual output is expected to reach 50,000 tonnes.

The company said that although the zinc price is going down currently, it will remain bullish in the future, as global supply is not sufficient to meet demand

Lundin Company suspended the production of Neves-Corvo mine in November 2008. In 2008, the mine produced 22,500 tonnes of zinc.
