Federal regulators have cited a Massey Energy Co subsidiary after a roof fall at the entry of a West Virginia mine blocked access to two evaluation points.

Massey disclosed the imminent danger citation in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing. The incident occurred Tuesday at Marfork Coal Co's Horse Creek Eagle Mine in Raleigh County.

According to the citation, the mine roof in another entry to the same area was severely deteriorated.

Massey says no one was injured, and the company is evaluating the situation.
