It is reported that in January to July 2011, the coke production of companies of Ukrainian mining and steel group Metinvest increased by 29%YoY rising to 3.984 million tonnes.

In particular, Avdiivka Coke and Chemicals Plant increased its coke output by 43% YoY to 2.644 million tonnes while the coke production of Azovstal went up by 9%YoY to 1.340 million tonnes.
