
It is reported that the iron ore subsidiaries of the Ukrainian mining and steel producing company Metinvest Holding have issued their production results for the first ten months of 2009.
Accordingly, in the January to October period Metinvest iron ore subsidiary Central GOK increased its pellets output by 0.6%YoY to 1.82 million tonnes but decreased its concentrate production by 26% YoY to 3.96 million tonnes.
During the first ten months of 2009, Severniy GOK produced 11.21 million tonnes of concentrate down by 3.8%YoY and 7.556 million tonnes of pellets down by 17%. Meanwhile, during the period in question Metinvest's Inguletskiy GOK registered a decreased of 23.8%YoY in its concentrate output to 9.37 million tonnes.
