RTTNews reported that Patriot Coal Corporation has appointed Mr Philip Brandt as VP of Employee Services. In this role, Mr Brandt will be responsible for employee relations, compensation & benefits and organizational development.

Mr Brandt has 19 years of experience overseeing human resources, safety and health organizations. Most recently, he served as SVP of Human Resources for GKN Aerospace. Previously, he held leadership roles in human resources at Nestle Purina PetCare Co and Ralston Purina Co.
