Management Changes Apollo Minerals Limited announced the appointment of Mr Gavin Daneel as executive GM.

Mr Gavin has an MSc in geology and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. He is an economic geologist with over 25 years’ experience in exploration and operations management in the mining industry both in private practice and for public companies. His exploration experience covers Australia, South East Asia, India and Africa. Gavin has served in a number of executive roles in public ally listed exploration and mining companies, the most recent being as General Manager Operations for WCP Resources Ltd. Other companies included Selwyn Mines Limited; Hargraves Resources Limited and Straits Resources Limited

He specializes in economic geology, focusing on exploration for and development of resources, and has management experience in exploration, project development and operations. He has actively participated in IPO’s, capital raisings, corporate governance and company promotion. He has been involved in projects covering a wide range of commodities including precious and base metals, iron ore, coal, uranium, precious and semi-precious gems, as well as oil and gas, and has participated in the negotiation, establishment and management of numerous joint ventures both within Australia and overseas.
