Interfax reported that Mr Filaret Galchev the owner of 18% of the shares in potash miner Uralkali has transferred some of his shares from one company to another.

Uralkali said in a statement that Galchev's Becounioco Holdings Limited had reduced its stake in the company to 8% from 15%. It said it had gained a new shareholder in Cosmopro Trading Limited which has acquired 7% of its shares.

A source with knowledge of the situation told Interfax that Galchev also controlled Cosmopro Trading.
