Bandanna Energy Limited has announced the appointment of Mr Park Soon IL as a director of Bandanna, following the 10% share placement to SAMTAN Aures Pty Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of SAMTAN Co Limited.

Mr Park Soon IL is the senior MD of SAMTAN's Energy & Resources Development Division. He is a qualified mining engineer with 30 years experience in Korean and Indonesian mines.

Mr Jeremy Barlow chairman of Bandanna said that Mr Park Soon IL will make an extremely valuable contribution to the Board, given his long and distinguished mining industry experience in Korea and Asia generally. He added that "I look forward to a productive and growing relationship with SAMTAN in the development of the Bandanna assets through the appointment of Mr Park Soon IL."
