The Coke chemical segment comprises Altai Koks and its subsidiaries. Altai Koks is Russia largest nonintegrated coke producer.
In 9M 2010 the Segment produced 2.5 million tonnes of coke a 13% growth YoY. In Q3 2010 coke production totaled 0.8 million tonnes a 3%QoQ reduction.
9M 2010 coke sales volumes increased 11%YoY to 2.5 million tonnes with 72% delivered to the Lipetsk site.
In Q3 we had a significant reduction in financials related to the lower volume of sales and prices.
Substantial YoY improvement in financial performance was mainly attributable to an increase in operating results and growing market coke prices.
