The West Australian reported that contractor NRW Holdings won AUD 148 million in new contracts with Pilbara iron ore miner Fortescue Metals Group.

The work includes 28.4km of rail earthworks for the Solomon spur rail project worth AUD 70 million, a joint venture early mining services contract for Solomon worth AUD 70 million and an AUD 8.5 million drill and blast contract for Christmas Creek.
