
Interfax-Ukraine reported that all miners at the Kalinin coal mine in Ukraine's Donetsk region, where a fire broke out on Thursday evening, have been led out to safety and none of them was injured.
Wooden carriages caught fire on February 2 in the Kalinin coal mine of the Donetsk Coal Energy Company at the 1,200 meter level.
There were 73 people inside coal mine when the fire broke out, including 22 in the fire stricken stretch.
The mine was temporarily shut down.
Rescuers from the state mountain rescue service continue efforts to fight the fire.
