According to Mr Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar Minister of Water and Power said that the government is taking steps to generate energy from coal and for this, all available resources in the country would be utilised.

He said that there is a plan to transfer the energy dependency from furnace to coal, which is a cheap source of energy.

Talking to a private television channel, he said that load shedding is being carried out in all the provinces on equal basis but some political parties are using energy crisis to create provincial hatred.
