The Nation reported that Pakistan’s National Conference of Workers of Information Technology urged the government to develop Hydel and Coal Fired Power Generation in the public sector to provide cheaper and abundant electricity in the country.

The conference also demanded the government to check price hike of essential commodities and bring the hoarders, profiteer and black marketers to book.

The conference was held at Bakhtiar Labour Hall under the aegis of “Pakistan Wapda hydro electric central labour union” CBA.
