Patriot Coal Corp said that there has been a major roof collapse in one of its West Virginia mines.

The company said there were no injuries after the fall on the main line belt at its Harris No. 1 mine. The collapse happened Saturday and production at the mine was shut down.

Patriot Coal said production will probably be suspended through the end of June, which is expected to hurt its second quarter results. The company did not say by how much.
