Kopex will supply to RMU - Banovici dd. Banovici Brown Coal Mine from Bosnia and Herzegovina the longwall system together with electrical equipment. The contract includes assembly and start up, as well as staff training. The total net value of the agreement amounts to EUR 10 198 00, ie PLN 42 665 373.

A contract in the Balkans is a big success for us. For a long time we announced that we have a good chance of winning the tender in this region of Europe. It’s important contract for us because of its value and because the agreement complements the backlog of orders of Kopex Group, which is already extensive.

Mr Krzysztof Jędrzejewski CEO of Kopex SA said that “We hope that the supply of the complete longwall system to the Balkan region will be for us a very good reference in subsequent tenders that are planned in this region of Europe.”

He added that in the past, Kopex completed many supplies to the Balkan region and we believe we have the potential to restore our position in this region.

According to the agreement, Kopex will supply the longwall system within 12 months from signing the contract. Deadline of assembly completion and equipment performance proving is determined for 16 months from signing the contract.
