Business Recorder reported that socio-political circles have lauded the bold decision of business community of Punjab for supporting "Thar Coal" project for overcoming ongoing energy crisis in the country. The work on this proposed project should be accelerated for bringing out the industrial sector from energy crisis which is the backbone of the national economy and employment provider in the country.

The impact of functioning of Thar Coal project on industrial sector would be positive on manufacturing sector and pave the way for generating employment opportunities they said.

Mr Naeem Anwar Qureshi President Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry while talking to media persons on Monday thanked all the chambers of commerce and industry for supporting the Thar Coal project for getting rid the menace of electricity load shedding. He said the uninterrupted electricity supply had become more imperative at this juncture for stabilising the production activities and to maintain exports of the country.
