QR National has signed a new long term haulage contract with Cockatoo Coal Limited for the transport of coal from Baralaba and Wonbindi mines.

The 10 year contract will see an additional 3 million tonnes per annum of coal transported to the Wiggins Island Coal Export Terminal from 2014 and the extension of an existing contract for 0.5 million tonne per annum through RG Tanna.
