
It is reported that resources sector services company, Sedgman Limited has secured a more than USD 25 million contract with Rio Tinto's coal division to construct and upgrade the mining giant's Bengalla coal handling and preparation plant in New South Wales.
Mr Steve van Barneveld CEO of Sedgman Coal said that it had been involved at the project since winning the original plant construction contract in 1997.
Mr Mark Read MD of Sedgman added that the record order book would result in another strong year of growth and will underpin earnings through 2010 and beyond."
