According to the State Statistics Committee of Russia, in the January to September period of the current year Russia produced 240.412 million tonnes of coal up by 2.8%YoY. In September alone, Russia increased its coal output by 5.2%YoY to 27.8 million tonnes.

According to the data for the first nine months of the current year, Russia coal exports increased by 9.5%YoY to 79.63 million tonnes. In September alone, Russia exported 8,49 million tonnes of coal up by 2.8%YoY.
