Bloomberg cited Mr P Mukherjee MD of Sesa Goa Ltd as saying that Sesa Goa Ltd India biggest iron ore exporter, will more than triple production to 50 million tonnes because of increasing prices and demand from China.

He said that “Prices are improving from this month. The company yesterday announced a 51% drop in Q2 profit because of declining prices. Prices averaged USD 50 per tonne in the quarter compared with USD 95 per tonne a year ago.
