It is reported that 7# coke oven of Shagang Group in Jiangsu after finishing the 80 days' baking formally went into production marking the fourth stage project's entry into production.

As one of the five technologically reformed projects of Shagang Group, the fourth stage project adapts such advanced environmental protection technologies as enclosed coal preserving silo, smoke free coal loading, and collective dust elimination and so on.

With a total investment of nearly CNY 2.6 billion the project will be capable of producing 2 million tonnes of coal each year and generating 320 million KWh of electricity.
