
Shandong Province to keep coal use increase below 82 million tonnes in 2011-15
According to the government of China Shandong Province, during the country 12th five-year plan period (2011-15) the overall increase in coal consumption in the province as compared to the 11th five-year plan period (2006-10) will be kept under 82 million tonnes.
In addition, by 2015 the Shandong authorities are aiming to reduce standard coal consumption per gross domestic product (GDP) unit to 0.85 tonnes down by 17%YoYand down by 35% compared to 2005.
