Bloomberg reported that China stocks fluctuated as Ping An Insurance Co and coal producers declined while TBEA Co led power equipment makers higher on reports of government power grid investment plans.

The Shanghai Composite Index, which tracks the bigger of China’s stock exchanges dropped 5.20, or 0.2% to 2,833.40 as of 10:05 AM local time after rising as much as 0.5%.
