Sierra Club hires former EPA official Mr Armendariz
US Media reported that the Sierra Club has hired Al Armendariz, the former Environmental Protection Agency official who resigned April following an uproar over his comments that the agency's "general philosophy" should be to "crucify" gas and oil companies, just as the Romans did when they conquered small villages.
Mr Armendariz worked as a regional administrator for the EPA in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and New Mexico.
