Following its recent purchase of a 65% stake in the Lumpo project in Indonesia, Perth based Palace Resources has been approached to explore extendings its current footprint in the area. Palace has entered discussions with the owner of an IUP located to the south of the Lumpo project, located in Western Sumatra.
Mr Nicholas Clark Palace chief says the new site contains coal with comparative calorific value to the Lumpo coal greater than 6500 kilocalories per kilogram. If an agreement is reached with the IUP owner, Palace Resources expects to commence a small operation early in 2012.
