Balkans Business News reported that Sviloza Thermal Power Plant in Bulgaria's Danube town of Svishtov has signed a coal supply contract with DTEK Trading, a company owned by Ukrainian oligarch Rinat Akhmetov.

Thus, the Sviloza TPP will be getting Ukrainian coal from DTEK Trading in 2012-2013.

Novinite.com reported that DTEK Trading has already delivered the first coal shipment to Sviloza, and that by the end of 2012 it will supply over 180 000 metric tons of coal to the Bulgarian plant.
