Taipower received 1.6 million tonne in offers for its tender TPC10004 for spot supply of bituminous coal which called for 700kt.

According to The Tex Report, five companies participated in the bidding with Glencore offering two Panamax and two Capsize shipments; Advance Trading offered two Panamax vessels; Indominco also offered two Panamax shipments and SUEK put forward five Capsize vessels. A second Taipower tender for 1.19 million tonne of sub bituminous coal received offers of 2.66 million tonne of coal with 38 Panamax shipments offered.
