The VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, OJSC, has signed a memorandum of cooperation with Vietnam National Coal-Mineral Industries Holding Limited a Vietnamese corporation.

The corporation’s Press-Service has informed RusBusinessNews that the document states the willingness of the parties to set up a joint venture in Vietnam where they are going to process titanium-bearing minerals into higher value added products.

The type of the joint venture, terms and conditions of its launching, activities, distribution of stakes in the authorized capital will be defined after Vinacomin receives a license for titanium mining in the Vietnamese province.
