
Volta Mining has some potentially very interesting news on the horizon in the form of an announcement regarding the acquisition of an iron ore project in West Africa, with the ASX granting the company a trading halt and placing its shares in pre open.
Volta has not yet commented any further on the news, but of interest the company announced in the recent quarterly that its managing director David Sumich met with the Gabonese Minister of Mines in Libreville to discuss Volta Mining’s potential iron ore acquisition - and other matters.
The halt will last until the earlier of an announcement being made to the market, or the opening of trade on Monday 20th August.
