The West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited a government of West Bengal Enterprise has launched spot contract tender for 1.2 million tonne of imported coal to the Power Plants of WBPDCL. Bids close on September 20th 2010.

Sealed tenders are invited in four part bidding system from experienced parties for Supply of Noncoking Coal of Foreign origin for Different Power Stations under WBPDCL. The four parts of the tender would be EMD (Earnest Money Deposit), Qualifying Requirement, Techno Commercial Bid & Price Bid.

The bidder should have experience supply of at least one million tonnes of Imported Non-coking Coal per year to any Power Utility in India directly or through PSU, during any 2 financial years within last 5 financial years. In support of the above, the bidder must enclose performance certificate.
