
The Directors of Worldwide Natural Resources plc, the PLUS listed waste to energy company, specializing in coal fines pelletization, is have provided shareholders with the following business update:
The 50 tonne per hour coal waste pelletisation plant, which the Company purchased on 26 June 2012 has now arrived in Durban, South Africa, where it is being securely stored, awaiting final transportation to its production site in Newcastle, South Africa.
The company is currently seeking to raise further finance in order to transport and ultimately commission the Plant at its planned site, which is adjacent to the proposed supply of coal fines, where the Company has already secured a significant feedstock agreement.
Alexander Johnson, CEO of WNR, commented, "This development is a major milestone for WNR, as the Company moves towards the final stages before production. Over the past two years WNR has entirely focused its efforts to become a leader in the reduction of environmentally harmful coal waste in South Africa and we expect to announce the commencement of operations within the next few months."
