It is reported that Yanzhou Coal Mining recorded a 70.23%YoY fall in third quarter net profit to CNY 1.1 billion.

Net profit earned during the first three quarters fell 2.92%YoY to CNY 6.13 billion with earnings per share of CNY 1.25. During the same period, sales revenue rose 30.68%YoY due to the higher coal sales volume and increased selling prices.

The company Australian subsidiary incurred a foreign exchange loss of CNY 250 million in 2011 compared with gains of CNY 1.54 billion in 2010.
