Zhengzhou Coal Industry Group is shouldering the responsibility for merging provincial 102 small coalmines and persuading 23 unsafe mines to be closed up.

At present, 10 mines have completely shut down, 11 mines have signed the agreement, and 2 mines under negotiation. Meanwhile 44 mines are resuming the operation.
