According to information from Ukraine Ministry of Economy, importers of steel pipes to Ukraine used 92.18% of their annual quota for imports of steel seamless casing and tubing with diameters up to 406.4 mm.

For the period from October 1, 2011 to September 30, 2012, the quota in question is 16,753 tonnes. Of this figure, the unused quota volume is 1,311 tonnes. In particular, Russia used 99.92 percent of its quota for exports of the mentioned products to Ukraine, Austria used 99% of its quota, Poland used 27.2% of its quota, and Romania used 100% of its quota, while other countries used 77% of their quotas.
