Ukrainian steelmaker Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works, a subsidiary of Ukrainian steel producer Industrial Union of Donbass plans to maintain its production of rolled steel products in September unchanged month on month at the level of 290,000 tonnes but aims to increase its production of crude steel by around 10% compared to August to around 321,000 tonnes.

In the January to August period, Alchevsk produced 2.2 million tonnes of steel products down by 10%YoY.
