It is reported that Management direction Port Business has finished construction of the third mooring at cargo port of Sochi for the needs of Olympiad 2014.

BasEl said “The mooring is equipped with mooring mechanisms and is ready to receive vessels and cargo.”

Since April 2010 two mooring with the capacity of 2 million tons in a year has been being operated in port. The moorings are equipped with four mobile Liebherr harbor cranes manipulator cranes front and fork loaders.

Finish of all eight moorings construction with gaining project capacity of 5 million tonnes is planned for December 2010.
