CIS steel export prices pick up with higher buying activity.

As per latest information from CIS steel export market, prices have continued to increase for the second week at Black Sea, after touching lowest levels in October and early November

The WoW change is as under
Billets - Up by USD 5 per tonne to USD 10 per tonne
Rebar - Up by USD 5 per tonne
Wire Rod - Up by USD 10 per tonne
HRC (Ukrainian) - Up by USD 10 per tonne
HRC (Russian) - Up by USD 5 per tonne
Plates - No Change
CR - No Change

The demand for long products picked up this week that allowed local producers to push the market higher amid fine order books status as buyers got more active in pre winter period and also are shifting orders more towards unfreezing ports to secure shipments

On the other hand finished flats prices, specifically for HR, picked up mostly due to the semis trends and other raw materials factors although the demand was generally observed as weak.
