Xinhua quoted the Ministry of Commerce said China decided to stop an investigation on the anti dumping case of grain oriented flat rolled electrical steel CRGO imported from Russia starting from Thursday.
The ministry said the anti dumping duties imposed on the GOES imported from two Russian companies, OJSC Novolipetsk Steel and VIZ-Stal Ltd will also be removed as of Thursday.
The decision was made as two Chinese iron and steel producers, Wuhan Iron & Steel Group Corp and Baosteel Group Corp Ltd, on June 4 proposed to revoke their applications on a midterm review.
In response to their previous applications, the ministry started the midterm review on June 27 2011.
China has imposed anti dumping duties of 6.3% to 25% on Russian GOES since April 11 2010.
