Ukrainian Journal reported that Chornomornaftogaz plans to start producing natural gas at the Odeske gas field in September of this year instead of October-November as originally planned due to the accelerated construction of an underwater gas pipeline.

A company representative said "With the assistance of the GMC Price pipe-laying barge, 76 kilometers of the underwater pipeline will be laid and welded in just a month and a half. Therefore, we will be able to start production in September at the new field in the Black Sea instead of the planned start in the fourth quarter."
