Mr Yuriy Boiko energy and coal industry minister of Russia said that due to a sharp drop of temperature in Russia, coming of gas to Ukraine has sharply dropped.

Mr Boiko explained that "With the technical agreement of 490 million cubic million, daily supply of gas to the country is at the level of 415 million cubic million. Ukraine takes gas in strict compliance with the contract, which should be taken according to the contract, but taking into consideration that gas does not come from Russia, it fails to come to Europe too."

Naftogaz of Ukraine stated that natural gas transit volumes via Ukraine's territory and drawing of imported natural gas drawing are at the level, determined by the agreement. The Ukrainian company assured that it guarantees observation of schedules of natural gas supply to European countries and to consumers inside the country.
