
Competition watchdog accuses TNK BP and LUKoil of price fixing
RIA Novosti reported that Russia competition watchdog, the Federal Antimonopoly Service has filed a suit against Volga based subsidiaries of oil giants TNK-BP and LUKoil over collusion on fuel prices.
The watchdog accuses the companies of fixing prices for AI-80 gasoline brand in the Saratov region.
Saratovnefteproduct, the TNK BP subsidiary says its market share in the region amounts to 45% while that of LUKoil Nizhnevolzhsknefteproduct is 25%.
