Ukraine Journal reported that Ukraine’s biggest power and coal mining company DTEK launched in operation Botievo Wind Power Plant with a total capacity of 57 MW.

The company said that the plant which is already the largest wind power generating project in Ukraine is based in the Zaporizhia region, will further increase its capacity to 90 MW later this month. The plant will have an overall capacity of 200 MW by the end of 2013 and is estimated to cost EUR 350 million.
