It is reported that in January to February 2010 Dneprospetsstal increased rolled steel production in comparison to the related period of the previous year by 40.7% to 38000 tonnes. In February it produced 19000 tonnes of finished steel.

Crude steel production in the same period is also increased at the company down by 47.2% to 53,000 tonnes.

We’d like to remind that in 2009 Dneprospetsstal reduced its production in comparison with 2008: crude steel down by 46.2% to 260,000 tonnes, rolled steel by 43.1% to 161,000 tonnes.

Dneprospetsstal is the only producer of alloyed steel long products and forgings of stainless, instrumental, cutting, bearing steel and of heat resistant nickel-based alloys.
